Furniture first. Financing when it fits.
DecorationPath is a furniture retailer. Financing is presented as one available purchase option for eligible products and approved customers. You may also use another available payment method when offered during checkout.
Financing as a purchase option
Financing may allow an approved customer to complete an eligible furniture purchase with a required down payment and repay the remaining financed balance over time according to the terms of the accepted account agreement.
Financing is not required to browse DecorationPath, create a customer account, or purchase furniture using another available payment method.
The availability of financing may depend on the product, purchase amount, customer location, application information, underwriting review, account status, and other applicable requirements.
Financing approval and product availability are separate. Approval does not reserve a product, and the availability of a product does not guarantee financing approval.
Product and customer eligibility
Eligible products
Not every item displayed by DecorationPath will necessarily be eligible for financing. Product eligibility may be based on:
- The selling price and amount to be financed.
- The financing program assigned to the product.
- Product availability and supplier status.
- Monthly financing availability or product limits.
- Delivery location and applicable state availability.
- Other product-specific rules disclosed before application.
Customer eligibility
Customers must meet the applicable identity, age, residency, application, verification, approval, and account requirements. Eligibility may also depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to apply for financing or accept a financing agreement.
How the process works
Select eligible furniture
Choose a product displaying an available financing option and review the estimated purchase information.
Complete the application
Provide the requested identity, contact, income, and other application information accurately and completely.
Receive a decision
Your application may be approved, conditionally approved, placed under review, declined, cancelled, or withdrawn.
Review and accept your terms
Approved customers review the specific credit limit, annual percentage rate, required down payment, payment terms, and account agreement before deciding whether to proceed.
Complete the purchase
Submit the required down payment and complete any remaining purchase-confirmation steps.
Manage the account
Use the Customer Hub to review account information, documents, orders, balances, and available payment options.
The financing application
The application requests information used to identify you, review your request, communicate a decision, prepare required documents, and establish an approved account.
Requested information may include:
- Full legal name and contact information.
- Date of birth and Social Security number.
- Residential address.
- Gross monthly income and income frequency.
- Employment, housing, or other financial information.
- Information needed to verify identity or review eligibility.
Additional information or documents may be requested when needed to complete identity verification, confirm application information, evaluate eligibility, prevent fraud, or satisfy applicable requirements.
Materially false, incomplete, inconsistent, or unauthorized information may delay the application, require additional review, result in cancellation, or affect account access.
Application review
Applications may be reviewed automatically, manually, or through a combination of automated rules and human review.
The review may consider:
- Identity and age verification.
- Completeness and consistency of the application.
- Income and affordability information.
- Product price and requested financed amount.
- Required down payment.
- Existing customer or account information.
- Fraud-prevention, security, and verification results.
- Applicable financing program requirements.
Some applications may require additional documents or manual review before a final decision can be made.
Possible application decisions
Approved
Financing terms are available for review and acceptance, subject to the conditions shown in your documents.
Conditionally Approved
Approval is subject to additional requirements, documents, verification, or purchase conditions.
Pending Review
The application requires additional review before a final decision can be issued.
Declined
Financing is not approved. Any required decision notice or adverse-action information will be provided separately.
Cancelled
The application or transaction was cancelled before completion.
Withdrawn
The customer chose not to continue with the application or financing process.
A financing decision does not guarantee that the selected product remains available or that an order has been accepted by the supplier.
Reviewing and accepting your terms
An approved or conditionally approved customer will receive the applicable financing terms before becoming obligated to proceed.
Your terms may include:
- The approved credit limit.
- The amount financed for the purchase.
- The required down payment.
- The annual percentage rate.
- The current balance and available credit.
- The method used to calculate minimum payments.
- The first payment or next-payment date.
- Account fees or other charges, if applicable.
- Account servicing and payment provisions.
- State-specific disclosures.
You should review all disclosures and agreements carefully before accepting. Acceptance is voluntary. You may choose not to proceed before accepting the terms and completing the purchase.
The specific disclosures and agreement presented to you control your financing transaction. This overview does not replace your individual account documents.
Required down payment
A down payment may be required before a financed furniture order can proceed. The required amount or percentage will be presented before payment.
The down payment is separate from the remaining financed balance. Completing a down payment does not override product availability, supplier confirmation, fraud review, delivery restrictions, or other order requirements.
Down payments are processed through the available payment service. Payment confirmation, cancellation, refund, and processing terms are addressed in the Payment Authorization and applicable purchase policies.
Your financing account
Once the applicable terms have been accepted and the account is established, the Customer Hub may display:
- Your account number.
- Your approved credit limit.
- Your current financed balance.
- Your available credit.
- Your annual percentage rate.
- Your estimated or required minimum payment.
- Your next payment date.
- Linked purchases and order status.
- Account documents and notices.
- Available payment options.
Account status may include pending customer acceptance, active, suspended, closed, paid in full, charged off, or another status permitted by the applicable agreement.
Available credit may change as purchases, payments, adjustments, interest, returns, refunds, or other account activity are posted.
Payments and minimum-payment information
Approved customers are responsible for making payments according to the accepted account terms and payment schedule.
Depending on the available account features, customers may be able to submit:
- A required down payment.
- A minimum payment.
- A custom payment amount.
- A payment greater than the minimum amount due.
The minimum-payment calculation, due date, payment application, returned-payment treatment, and other servicing terms are controlled by the account agreement and current account records.
Payments may take time to process and may remain subject to return, reversal, bank processing, or payment-provider review.
Documents, notices, and electronic delivery
Financing-related documents may be provided through the Customer Hub, secure document viewer, email notification, or another legally permitted delivery method.
Documents may include:
- Application confirmations.
- Approval or conditional-approval notices.
- Pending-review notices.
- Adverse-action notices.
- Financing disclosures and account agreements.
- Payment confirmations and receipts.
- Account status or servicing notices.
- Customer-uploaded and reviewed documents.
Electronic delivery and signature requirements are explained in the separate E-SIGN Consent.
Credit reporting and account information
Depending on the applicable account, authorization, business practices, and legal requirements, account information may be maintained and may be furnished to one or more consumer reporting agencies.
Information that may be reported can include account identity, account status, balance, credit limit, payment history, amount past due, date information, or other applicable account data.
Customers are responsible for making payments as agreed and for promptly reporting suspected errors or unauthorized activity.
Any credit-reporting authorization, disclosure, or account term presented during the financing process will govern the specific account.
Identity verification and account security
DecorationPath may use identity, authentication, document, security, and fraud-prevention measures to protect applicants, customers, accounts, payments, and transactions.
These measures may include:
- Verification of application information.
- Secure account creation and password setup.
- Restricted access to sensitive documents.
- Additional identity or document requests.
- Payment and transaction monitoring.
- Temporary account restrictions when suspicious activity is detected.
Customers should protect their login credentials and promptly contact DecorationPath if unauthorized access, unexpected account changes, or suspicious communications are suspected.
